Daniel J. Levitin, Ph.D.
Daniel J. Levitin, Ph.D., is assistant professor of psychology and an associate in the department of music theory at McGill University in Ontario, Canada. His research is on memory, auditory processing, cognition, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Before he began his academic career, he was a commercial record producer and session musician who wrote regularly for Billboard Magazine and edited the industry journal Recording Engineer-Producer.
